Celebrating Our Sisters

Wednesday, December 16th, 2015

On Sunday, December 20, 2015 the Church in the Archdiocese of Newark celebrates those who have served in religious and protects them by collecting a second collection called the Religious Retirement Fund. Here at OLMC we are mirroring the Church’s commitment but doing it a bit more locally. At the 10:00 a.m. Mass our local sisters– Sr. Regina Chassar, Sr. Nora and Sr. Mary Kelly–will be celebrated! If you’d rather support the sisters directly instead of giving to the general Religious Retirement Fund there are envelopes with the sisters’ specific religious community information on them in the pews at church. Of course, make sure to make it to the parish coffee immediately following the Mass to celebrate with us!
