Permanent Deacons Approach Ordination

Monday, March 21st, 2016

The Archdiocese of Newark is preparing 25 men to receive the Sacrament of Holy Orders in early June and be ordained as Permanent Deacons. This has been a journey of intense spiritual and theological formation lasting more than five years, a journey encompassing much prayer and sacrifice for these men and for their families.  These 25 come from parishes all around the Archdiocese and from all walks of life. Each has answered Our Lord’s call to ministry of the Word, at the Altar and in loving Service to all God’s children. Among these 25 is Dr. Michael Giuliano from our own OLMC parish community. Please keep our brother Michael, his wife Mary Beth, and their children in your prayers as this joyous and grace-filled day approaches.

On June 5, 2016 Dr. Michael Giuliano will be celebrating his first Mass as a permanent deacon, please join us then and immediately after for a luncheon reception. Please RSVP to join us. Information 201-568-0545.
