Family Promise Walk-In Dinner Program

In celebration of our patroness, Our Lady of Mount Carmel we will be once again serving meatloaf, mashed potatoes, vegetables and desert to over 125 hungry brothers and sisters in Hackensack, NJ on Friday, July 15, 2016. If you are interested or know someone who is interested in either preparing a dish and/or serving please let us know!
As always there are three ways to serve on the day, below are the details:
Donating Food / Drop Off at OLMC
If you would like to drop off a food item, please let me know you are and please do so at the OLMC kitchen (door access next to the elevator) by 12:30 p.m.
Help Cook / Heat Up at OLMC
Please arrive at the OLMC kitchen (door access next to the elevator at 12 Noon to help cook and prepare the food.)
Serve the Food in Hackensack
If you are serving at the shelter, you must be at least 14 years of age. Please arrive at the Hackensack location 120 South River Street Hackensack, NJ at 3:45 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Please wear a hat and closed toe shoes. If you are bringing a cooked item make sure it is warm.
