Dear Brothers and Sisters of Our Lady of Mount Carmel,
The page in our weekly bulletin is devoted to “Giving and Gratitude.” We report here on the financial facts of our life and also use this site to share with you the many expressions of gratitude received in our parish for all the many kindnesses you do, for which OLMC gets the credit.
Today, I am the one who needs to express the gratitude. In addition to your faithful and generous ongoing support of our normal mission, there are two other things that you have done for which I am grateful. 
- The capital campaign for the Archdiocese of Newark launched in 2016 entitled “We Are Living Stones.” Seventeen percent of our members made pledges to the campaign in the amount of $621,116. Many are still making the regular payments in fulfillment of those pledges. Thanks. You need to know that the parish has already received back over $166,000 as our share of your total contribution. Some of those funds are designated in support of our Medical Mission and will be utilized in October of this year. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you.
- In addition, we are back to the regular pledge drive in support of the Archdiocese of Newark called “Sharing God’s Blessings.” This campaign has been with us for 30 years and is a vital support to the Archdiocese. Thanks to all those who are supporting this appeal on top of all the good causes appealing to your generosity.
Add it all up and you have to admit – yes, we are blessed and yes, we are generous in sharing our blessings.
