On Sunday, September 23, 2018 the Medical Mission Team was commissioned with a blessing from Fr. Dan and the entire faith community of Our Lady of Mount Carmel at the 10:00 a.m. Mass. “We are going to Peru in the name of the Gospel and in the name of the whole Church!” Fr. Dan said. “Yes, thirty of us are going, but the entire parish family is a part of the team!” he continued. After two years of planning, fundraising, praying and donating the Catholic Community of Our Lady of Mount Carmel is ready to send out thirty strong medical professionals, translators and logistic coordinators to Jose Galvez, Peru.
