Saturday, October 12, 2019 is SERVICE ON SATURDAYS, a Fall Family Service event. Serve alongside your children to be a great example and for those students who need them, collect Community Service Hours. Volunteer sites are Community Food Bank of New Jersey in Hillside (children must be at least 12 years old) and Palisades Interstate Park in Alpine (children must be 3 years and older). Parents must accompany children.
Schedule:
- Sign in Coffee / T-shirt pick up. 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at OLMC
- Drive to work site 10:30 a.m.
- Service at work site 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
This is physical work. Must dress for comfort and the weather, must wear closed toe shoes. While you may not need to, both sites require possibly lifting of five pounds.
