This Week’s Gospel Message

Friday, October 4th, 2019

This Week’s Gospel Message for Sunday, October 6th is From Luke 17:5-10

“The apostles said to the Lord, ‘Increase our faith.’ The Lord replied, ‘If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you would say to this mulberry tree, “Be uprooted and planted in the sea,” and it would obey you.’”

“How do we nurture the seeds within us? Nurturing requires attention and action. We nurture the seeds of virtue by exercising those virtues. We exercise kindness and generosity through acts of care and charity. We exercise courage when we stand up for what we believe in when it’s easier not to. We exercise faith by placing our trust in God.” Source:  Pastoral Patterns, Autumn 2019
