This Week’s Gospel Message

Thursday, October 10th, 2019

This Week’s Gospel Message for Sunday, October 13th is from Luke 17:11-19.

“As Jesus continued his journey to Jerusalem, he traveled through Samaria and Galilee. As he was entering a village, ten lepers met him. They stood at a distance from him and raised their voices, saying, ‘Jesus, Master! Have pity on us!’. . .And one of them, realizing he had been healed . . . fell at the feet of Jesus and thanked him. He was a Samaritan.”

“Even if we have never needed to be healed like a leper or welcomed like a foreigner, we have all received many blessings from God.” Source:  Pastoral Patterns, Autumn 2019
