This Week’s Gospel Message

Wednesday, November 6th, 2019

This Week’s Gospel Message for Sunday, November 10th is from Luke 20:27-38.

“That the dead will rise even Moses made known in the passage about the bush, when he called out ‘Lord,’ the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob; and he is not God of the dead, but of the living, for to him all are alive.”

“Jesus’ answer to those who deny the resurrection is perfectly logical . . . The afterlife is a life that is completely new, not possible to think of in terms of this world. It exceeds our ability to imagine or understand.” Source:  Pastoral Patterns, Autumn 2019
