This Week’s Gospel Message

Wednesday, November 27th, 2019

This Week’s Gospel Message for Sunday, December 1st is from Matthew 24:37-44. “Therefore, stay awake! For you do not know on which day your Lord will come.”

“Jesus warns his disciples that the Son of Man will come ‘at an hour you do not expect’ (Matthew 24:44). If we are honestly preparing our hearts to receive Jesus, we must stop doing things that injure or demean others and ‘put on the armor of light’ (13.12). If we wouldn’t want it ‘brought to light,’ that’s a sign we shouldn’t do it.”
