The challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic affect everyone, including homeless families and people who are hungry. Our Lady of Mount Carmel is in the business of helping all people, and we are continuing to do that even in these trying days. With that said, it is of the utmost importance that parishioners stay safe, healthy and do not do anything outside of their comfort zone.
On Monday, January 18th OLMC will keep her commitment to serve our most vulnerable brothers and sisters. Join us for our next Walk-In Dinner program on Monday, January 18th.
There are three ways to help, choose one, or all three!
1. Pray for us! Lift up our cause in your daily prayers.
2. Donate! Cook and drop off either whole baked potatoes, mixed veggies, meatloaves or assorted desserts or donate items like butter, salad dressing!
3.Prep the meal at the OLMC kitchen from 12:00 p.m to 3:00 p.m. by warming the food, making portions and prepping salads.
Important, please read!
We will be amending our drop off policy. OLMC staff members will collect the donated food at the elevator entrance at the North Parking directly from your car at 12 Noon or you can drop off the food at the elevator door. They will be wearing protective gear, sanitize all containers and then reheat the meal. No volunteers are to enter the building. Please be as prompt as possible.
For those who choose to prep the food at OLMC, you must wear closed toe shoes, a mask and a baseball hat. We will provide gloves. Thank you for your service!
