If it wasn’t awesome enough that Katie Meyers and Dr. Vincent Antonucci won the Archdiocesan Award for Outstanding Parish Youth and Outstanding Parish Adult respectively, our very own Angela Rafferty won the Eagle of the Cross Award the highest award given by the Archdiocese of Newark to a youth.
We swept this year’s award season because we’re the OLMC Youth Crew, and “that’s how we roll.”
Party People! Just wanted to give it up for our 2009 Student Leader Award winner Katie Meyers. Also, Dr. Vinny Antonucci has won our Adult Leader Award! We will be celebrating Mass at the Cathedral in Newark this Sunday so crazy props and prayers for our winners!

AFTERLIFE: an out-of-body comedy
Party People, we’re having a casting Call! Anyone 9th-12th grade interested in acting, producing, doing backstage work like building sets, etc. is invited to join us for the upcoming comedy AFTERLIFE! This Sunday, September 13th, 7pm in the YOUTH ROOM. Let’s get all that drama on stage where it belongs.
Party people, I’m so glad to be back from my service trip in Lima, Peru where I spent some time with the orphans from La Ciudad de los Ninos. The Franciscan Friars and the Carmelite Fathers and Sisters are doing some amazing work in that amazing city. Let’s continue to pray for all of them and I’m looking forward to planning ways of helping our hermanos in Peru. Peace and Love.
