  1. How many years at OLMC?

 Our family feels very blessed to have found OLMC. We came to OLMC after we moved to Demarest four years ago. We went to Mass here once and were so impressed with Father Leonard and the general feeling of being here, we decided to make OLMC our Catholic home.

  1. Favorite movie?

I am not a huge movie buff, but some movies make me happy and I can watch them time and again. A Fish Called WandaMrs. DoubtfireThe Sound of Music. And, strangely, Star Wars.

  1. A fun/moving/exciting OLMC memory?

Lots of them! Most recently, last week my 9-year-old son Patrick saw a little girl a few pews up drop a toy during Mass. It rolled out of her reach. Not having seen this, when Patrick went to leave the pew to help her, I gave him a sharp look. He insisted and said to me, “Mom, I have to go help somebody.” So he went, picked up the toy and gave it back to the little girl, who smiled at him.

  1. Last book you finished?

Lisa Unger’s Fragile. I know Lisa as a fellow writer and am making my way though her novels. Great characters and suspense!

  1. A place you always wanted to travel to?

Gros Morne National Park in Newfoundland, Canada. It has some of the most breathtaking views in the world. Fjords and rivers and incredible mountains. The Long Range Traverse within the Park is listed as one of National Geographic’s World’s Best Hikes. I plan to hike it next summer.

  1. Life advice?  Favorite quote?
