An Evening in Peru, “Una Tarde en Peru,” was an evening that brought together the members of Our Lady of Mount Carmel’s parish and school community. It was a celebration in preparation of all the men and women volunteers who would be traveling this Saturday to minister to the needy of Peru.
We would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank You” to all who participated in making this event so successful. Whether you attended, donated some of the Peruvian-inspired foods and delicious international desserts, entertained us, purchased raffle tickets, decorated or cleaned up, you helped to make this event memorable.
Very special “Thank Yous” to Meddy Hellman and her team who delivered an amazing International Dessert Room for all of us to enjoy and indulge! And to Mary Ann Nelson, Roxanne Kougasian, Terri Silvestri and Elliot Guerra for helping with reservations and getting the word out.
An evening like this is only possible when our community comes together to share its collective time, talent and treasure. Blessings to all who made our vision a stunning reality!
