Thank you to all of our parishioners for the overwhelming response to our survey. The results were very clear that people would like the Sunday livestreams to continue but the weekday mass livestreams on Tuesday and Thursday are less essential. The reasons given for wanting Sundays to continue generally involved health issues of parishioners and family members; people also liked the ability to participate in the liturgy when they are out of town.
As we mentioned previously, as we emerge from the pandemic lockdown the only way we can continue the livestream is if we turn it into a volunteer ministry, much like our altar servers and lectors. We are looking for responsible young men and women from the 8th-12th grade who are interested in being part of this new ministry at OLMC. Perhaps you have community service hours you need to complete for school or you would like to serve the parish in ways other than being an altar server?
