Claudia Wigent has been a working harpist since the age of twelve, first in the Washington DC/Baltimore area where she considers herself to be incredibly fortunate to have been raised in a family of musicians who had an active life in both sacred and secular music. In the New York City area since the mid 1970’s, she has maintained an active and highly varied career while residing in Teaneck and raising four now adult children. Claudia is a “go to” person for organizing and leading ensembles of gifted musicians that can play in many styles. She is married to Stafford Home, who plays clarinet, saxophone and flute.
