Advent Begins!

Thursday, November 25th, 2021

Dear Parents,

Sr. Regina Chassar, SSJ

We begin the Holy Season of Advent on Sunday, November 28th. We want the children to feel the excitement and sparkle of this season! We want them to keep the season, always with Christ in the center of everything. You no doubt have some very special traditions that honor Jesus in your home at this time of the year. Keep Christ in Christmas is the very special saying that many people use and display in the home and elsewhere.

Advent is a season of 4 weeks that we spend preparing for the coming of Jesus. We do this by prayer, attendance at mass and sharing our gifts with others.

Our parish catechists have spent time preparing lessons around this season of Advent. The Religious Education textbook has chapters dedicated to the seasons of Advent and Christmas. The music used during this season is about Preparing the Way. We thank our parish catechists for their dedication and service to our parish community. Please keep them in your prayers.

May you and your family have a meaningful Advent preparation.

Blessings,

Sister Regina M. Chassar .ssj
