Medical Supplies Collection for Ukraine

The Medical Mission Team of OLMC is organizing a drive to collect

urgently needed medical supplies for the humanitarian and medical crisis in Ukraine.

The Medical Mission Team of OLMC is organizing a drive to collect urgently needed medical supplies for the humanitarian and medical crisis as a result of the invasion of Ukraine. There will be designated collection boxes at the main church entrance where items can be dropped off beginning Saturday, March 12 through Sunday, March 20 until the 12 Noon Mass. The items will be brought to the Holy Ascension Ukranian Church in Clifton. Items will be flown to Poland where they will be distributed to medical personnel and refugees in need.

PRIORITY ITEMS NEEDED:

First aid kits (light weight preferred)

Adhesive bandages in multiple sizes

Burn dressings

Burn creams

Butterfly strips/bandages

Medical adhesive tape rolls (2 to 3 inches wide)

Eye wash (4 oz. bottles), saline eye drops

Elastic bandages

Elastic wrap (Ace bandages standard size 4” x 5 yds.)

Rolled gauze (standard 4 to 5 inches wide)

Non-stick gauze pads (4” x 4” or larger)

Compression bandages

Moleskin (2” x 5 yd. rolls)

Medical gloves (latex or rubber)

Facemasks (NO cloth masks)

Safety pins, various sizes

Powdered Electrolytes (NO LIQUID)

Powdered Pedialyte (NO LIQUID)

Pain relievers (ibuprofen, naproxen, acetaminophen, aspirin—adult and children, NO LIQUIDS)

Cold medication pills (Mucinex, NyQuil, DayQuil)

Triple antibiotic ointment

Benadryl/diphenhydramine tablets

Hydrocortisone cream 1%

Imodium/Loperamide tablets

Pepto Bismol tablets

White Petroleum Jelly (Vaseline, 1.75 oz. containers)
