This week’s Spotlight features Samantha and Joshua Maravillas, ages 11 and 14 and Jose Pablo Zarate Diez, age 12.

How long has your family been parishioners?
23 years
How long have you been an altar server?
Since fourth grade
What attracted you to this form of service?
Our older sister, Sofia and our brother, Jacob were doing it. We wanted to give back to God.
What other areas of community service (parish/school/personal) are you involved in?
Catholic Heart Workcamp, Service on Saturdays, and feeding the homeless with the Walk In Dinner program!

What attracted you to this form of service?
It is a way to be close to God.
What other areas of community service (parish/school/personal) are you involved in?
I am part of OLMC’s SOS (Service on Saturday). Recently, we have done some cleaning and restoring historic parks.
What other types of service opportunities would you like to see OLMC offer?
Missions to help people in need.
What are some of your other interests (i.e., music, sports, clubs) that you would like to share?
I practice soccer on the Tenafly travel team and I am interested in robotics.
