Religious Education classes are in session. Sunday class begins on September 17th and Tuesday class, September 19th. We welcome our catechists and students to a year of praying. learning and sharing our faith in the Lord.
The family is a gift from God! As a way to support the family and the Church’s teaching on family life education we are using RCL Benziger’s book with the Family Life Connection series. Some of the grade level books contain the handout and other books have a pamphlet that contains the same material.
We are mandated by the Archdiocese of Newark to provide a Family Life Program. The Family Life program will help each family to integrate Catholic values and virtues into everyday living. Please make every effort to review and work with your children on the Family Life Connection worksheet. Students should bring home weekly the Family Life insert for sharing within the family.
The theme for this Catechetical Year: “Come to Me, all you who labor and are burdened.” Matthew 11:28
We pray: God our Father, let your peace settle within the hearts of all mothers, fathers, and guardians. Give them strength and wisdom as they care for their children. Show them how to raise their families with patience and tenderness. Give them strength during the times of greatest difficulty and help them recognize the little joys that are part of each day. May they grow in wisdom, understanding and grace. Amen.
