November Newsletter

Dear Parents and students,

Sr. Regina Chassar, SSJ

We all have certain things that give our family special significance. Perhaps it is the family name itself. Perhaps it is a family crest or seal or banner that is representative of a family from which we are descendants.

On November 1, we celebrate the Feast of All Saints. This special feast day as well as Thanksgiving, a holiday, can be made very holy. The feast provides us with a wonderful opportunity to bring the parish community together to celebrate the Saints and to give thanks for God’s blessings.

As with the Celebration of the Holy Eucharist and our other Sacraments, it is in the celebrating that we remember, learn about, and connect with our Catholic Teachings and Traditions.

On November 1st, we celebrate the many wonderful men and women whose virtues and faith show us how to live with charity, compassion, and forgiveness as members of a family and as a member of the parish community of faith. Seek out the saints for guidance and wisdom today and every day.

On December 3rd we begin the holy season of Advent. Prepare the Way of the Lord!

Blessings and thanks,

Sister Regina Chassar, ssj
