A new tradition was born at OLMC on Wednesday December 6th, St Nicholas’ Feast Day ! Over 40 children and adults gathered for a blessing of their Christmas stockings. Together we enjoyed seasonal sweets and hot cocoa all while creating Christmas cards for the Sisters at the Franciscan Convent and sharing stories of Christmas family traditions. St. Nicholas Day blessing of stockings was so fun as Fr. Richard blessed our stockings and one of our many beautiful trees. It was great to see so many smiling faces, check out the photos!
