Early Christmas morning, OLMC parishioners, the Palumbo family, packed up their cars loaded with warm wear items- many of which were collected through our Share the Warmth, Spread the Love Campaign of handmade hats and scarves created in our knitting/ crocheting club and headed to Newark Penn Station. While there they joined many other volunteers who helped feed the homeless as well as hand out much needed items that will provide warmth during cold winter days and nights. The remaining items were then donated to the Hoboken Shelter! Thank you to the Palumbo’s and everyone who donated and handmade many of the warm wear items and brought the Christmas Spirit to our sisters and brothers in need! God’s blessings for the New Year!
