It’s been a big couple of weeks at OLMC! All our attic work is done! We removed the old air conditioning system which was at the end of its usefulness. We now have a new air conditioner that is far more energy efficient and much quieter! The new ductwork will distribute the air better and will be far more attractive. We now have an insulated attic, where before there was no insulation! That will save on energy costs in the winter and the summer. The new electrical work is already in place which will make the installation of the lights and the sound system move quickly. The Sheetrock ceiling will be finished in a couple of days and after the spackling of the ceiling is finished the terrazzo floor will be installed. We are HOPING that we will be finished by mid-May! Our final date will be more clear in the coming weeks. Until then thank you for your patience. It’s going to be well worth the wait and a celebration 150 years in the making!
