No matter where you are in your life, God has invited you to the water. He has called you to grace and greatness. Our Lady of Mount Carmel’s Youth Ministry program provides High School students with an opportunity to answer this call. Every Sunday at 1:30 PM our Youth Crew meets in the auditorium to take an hour to have fun, reflect, and “refuel” so that we may enter the world and begin the week as joyful disciples of Christ.
We seek to enter the world and respond to God’s call to greatness though acts of love and service. The OLMC youth crew places a strong emphasis on serving our community and is dedicated to achieving social justice. Whether it be volunteering to run events at OLMC, working a soup kitchen, delivering Christmas presents to poor children, or building a home for a poor family, the youth ministry program is committed to bringing Christ’s message of love, mercy, and compassion to those who have been marginalized by society. For it is through service and solidarity that we can evangelize the world and experience the true joy of the Gospels.
