Dear Friends,
It’s summer! No more class sessions, e-learning, homeschooling or whatever sort of schooling
the students have been working on this pass school year. Try some of these suggestions to make your summer a little more Catholic. The following suggestions can get the entire family involved in a summer activity. Have a blessed summer!
Sister Regina
Plan a kids Olympics- have the kids practice all morning, then hold games after lunch. Talk
about how our bodies, no matter how they look or function, are gifts from God.
Dedicate some of your prayer time for the sick and suffering in our country and around the
world. Especially during this time war and violence.
Feed the hungry, Give drink to the thirsty. Clothe the naked. Shelter the homeless. Visit the
sick. Visit the imprisoned. Bury the dead.
Take a hike or a walk. Look for birds, insects and different kind of trees and plants. Enjoy being
outside in God’s creation. Remind the kids that it’s important to be good stewards of the Earth
and the Creatures who live there.
Write a letter, send a card or care package to a family member you haven’t seen in a while.
Pray one of your prayers each night for a special intention.
